If you’re looking for a great setup on your guitar or bass, or to install new pickups, or need any kind of repair, bring it on in to Boutique Tone. Every Tuesday, Pierre Erizias, a well-known luthier of high-end basses and guitars, and a 19 veteran builder and repairman of guitars and basses, will be in the store doing repairs on the spot. Whatever he can’t finish during the day he will bring back to his shop and return it to Boutique Tone the following Tuesday. Most of the work gets completed in the same day!

We’re very sorry to hear of the loss of Steve Kirman, founder of Steve’s Music Store. Steve created a wonderful Montreal institution and he will be sadly missed. Like every other musician in Montreal, Steve’s was ‘our’ store and we’re grateful for what he gave us and for the legacy he leaves behind. Steve opened Steve’s Music Store in 1965 at the age of nineteen.

Boutique Tone and Diffusion-Audio are extremely excited to present The Aristocrats live at Club Soda (1225 St. Laurent, Montreal, QC)) on Monday, October 3 · 8:30pm – 11:30pm.
Three of the most accomplished virtuosos in the world in the genre of rock-fusion instrumental, The Aristocrats was formed shortly after January, 2011 after guitar sensation Guthrie Govan , drum phenom Marco Minnemann, and bassist extraordinaire Bryan Beller got together to do an impromptu Bass Bash event during NAMM. The three musicians hit it off so well in terms of musical interplay and chemistry that they immediately said after the show that they need to do this again. That talk evolved into making a debut album and the new fledgling supergroup went into the studio in Chicago in late-April to record the album which will be released on September 13, 2011.
